Montecarlo Rosso Riserva fully represents the potentials of the DOC Montecarlo through its maturing and ageing capacity in the years. This wine, in order to achieve the appellation “Riserva” has to age 24 months before its sale and is produced only in the best years. During its ageing process this wine has to be bottled at least 6 month before its sale. The ageing process in our cellars is partially in French oak barrels and partially in cement tanks. Montecarlo Rosso Riserva represents all the potentiality of this terroir, able to give rise to great red wines with a long ageing capacity in bottle.
